FHS Band Booster Club History:

        The Franklin Band boosters where started in
the Fall 1999 as a support system to the Franklin High
School Band.  In the first year the group undertook
a truck raffle and raised $15,000.00.  The proceeds
went to purchase new tubas and a double horn.  These
are the first new brass instruments in the band inventory
in over 40 years.  Our second big event was sponsored
by the Franklin Bed and Breakfast Association (their
annual Bed Race).  In the upcoming years, we hope
to raise enough money to purchase more instruments,
equipment, and new uniforms
for the Franklin High School band.  

The other areas of support to the band include
providing refreshments both at home and on the road
for games and competitions, chaperones for almost
every trip taken as a program, meals for both band
staff and the band students during band camp, bus
drivers, booster organization supporters, fundraising
personnel, and just being available to aid Mr. Huckabee
when needed.

To join the boosters,  just attend any of our meetings. 

The Band Booster meetings take place on the
first Thursday night of each
month at the High School Band room.

Meetings start at 7:00pm, and there are
no dues or other financial commitment required.
